Track Parent Meeting Information

 

2022 Copper Hills Track and Field Meeting

 Welcome to another season of track and field at Copper Hills High School. We will be go through what needs to be accomplished before your athlete even steps onto the track in order to compete.

1-     Go to registermyathlete.com and if your athlete is new then you must create a profile for that child.

2-     Complete all the items that need to be electronically signed.

3-     Physical paperwork can be printed from the following link:
http://www.uhsaa.org/forms/forma.pdf or get a hard copy tonight.
Please make sure you are uploading all 3 pages of the physical form.

 4-     Upload Process for Report Cards in Register My Athlete:
*Log in to student Skyward account.
*Click Report Card/Academic Progress in the bottom, left hand corner.
*Click on the applicable/current report card. You will get a message that says generating report.  Please wait until it is complete.
*Click on View Report. Your report card will now be showing on the screen.
*Click the download button in the upper, right hand corner.  It looks like a down arrow with a line below it.
*Save your report card as a PDF file.
*Log in to Register My Athlete account.
*Select Athlete name in left hand column under MY ATHLETES section.
*Select current sport under REGISTRATIONS.
*Click Upload next to section 5 Report Card.
*Choose the saved PDF file.
*Click Upload Document.
Section 5 - Report Card on the main screen will now show submitted for Admin Verification
you are done!
 

5-     Upload your receipt for the participation fee to registermyathlete.com (please look over the fundraising information) 

6-     Get your child a good pair of trainers ($50 to $150) and if you choose to get them some spikes (ask as coach about the spikes they should have. 

7-     Come with a gym bag that has shorts, tee-shirt, sweats or warm ups, gloves and a stocking cap or ear muffins for practice. A couple pair of socks and a towel (especially if you’re a thrower).

 

 

The Copper Hills Track and Field season will start February 28th

Practice Time: 2:45 pm to 5 pm DO NOT BE LATE AND COMPLETE THE ENTIRE PRACTICE!! (Freshmen come as quickly as possible)!!

Where: Copper Hills Stadium (unless cold and wet then meet in the commons)

When: Monday through Friday

 FUNDRAISER:

Once again we are holding our annual popcorn fundraiser of which the portion that goes to athlete can be used for their participation fee and uniform (so don’t pay those fees until Coach Rushforth is notified on how much each person raised). Any extra funds are used by the team for equipment and for the future purchase of a new timing system.

TEAM FUNDRAISER:

Copper Hill Invitational: Proceeds will be used for new equipment and the team banquet. We will expect the entire team to help out at this meet and expect the help of most if not all parents to help run events and the timing system.
